Anaferon

Anaferon is an original agent for the treatment and prevention of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections. It has been developed on the basis of ultra-low doses of antibodies against interferon-gamma, an endogenous regulator of the immune system.

Materia Medica Holding has its own manufacturing site located in Chelyabinsk. The site is equipped with up-to-date European facilities (German Bohle, Huttin, Korsch and Italian CAM) that comply with all necessary quality and safety requirements of cGMP and GOST 52249-2004. Two accredited laboratories work at the site: a control & analytical laboratory and a microbiological laboratory.

In March 2007, the manufacturing site was licensed (license No. 99-04-000422) to manufacture substances, tablets, homeopathic granules and liquid non-sterile dosage forms.

The site is annually audited by independent foreign experts to verify its compliance with cGMP. The company has enough highly-qualified personnel who undergo continuous training and education to perform manufacturing and control operations.

During the last year Materia Medica Holding introduced innovative approaches to drug manufacturing technologies.
