History

The company’s history goes back to 1993 when a group of enthusiasts decided to realize their dream: develop and launch available and safe homeopathic products. At that time homeopathy wasn’t easy to access for everyone, and homeopathic products were prepared and sold only by special pharmacies and orders.

Specialists from Materia Medica Holding were the first in Russia to launch mass manufacture of homeopathic products and to make them available to a wide range of consumers. Drugs manufactured by the company rapidly gained popularity and mass demand. That was the beginning of the first stage of the company’s history – development and introduction of complex homeopathic drugs.

Having developed a new class of drugs based on ultra low doses of antibodies to endogenous regulators in 1999, the company passed to a new stage of development. A period of intensive research started. A great number of specialists in the field of experimental clinical medicine were involved. Hundreds of articles were published in several Russian and foreigners scientific journals and magazine.

The company became open for cooperation and established contacts with many research institutes and departments. Currently, Materia Medica Holding cooperates with many European companies and institutes in the field of science.

Products manufactured by Materia Medical Holding became popular not only in Russia, but also abroad. Our products were registered in many countries throughout the world. Now, the company is expanding into the markets of CIS, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
